NOTE: All marks are cumulative, that is, based on all work up to that date, irrespective of the term.

Course work gathered throughout the term to that date will be worth 100% of the Term 1 (January Report).

Course work gathered throughout the year will make up 70% of the final grade (June Report).

The remaining 30% will consist of Final Evaluation projects and an exam that together assess all overall expectations in the course.

Course work scores for the Term 1 Report and the Final June Report (70%) in the four areas of the Achievement Chart are tracked independently.  At the end of the year, the proportions for each component of the Achievement Chart will be as close as possible to the following:

Knowledge/Understanding  (K/U):      25%           actual % of 70%         (17.5%)

Thinking/Inquiry  (T/I):                         25%                                                 (17.5%)
